Training Tip — Make the Best Use of SIRS Issues Researcher’s Note Organizer

SIRS Issues Researcher provides an array of high quality research tools that can help researchers move methodically through the research process and organize their thoughts in advance of writing. Among these tools is the Note Organizer. Note Organizer may be used within SIRS Issues Researcher during any single research session. However, effective research may often take more time than just one search session. Below is an example of how researchers may save and use the Note Organizer more than once during the same research project. . .

First, choose the Note Organizer while looking at a Leading Issue, or from the Educators’ Resources page.

Once in the Note Organizer, select the most appropriate template, then click the “Save” button on the main menu.

Name the Note Organizer. Add an email address to send a live link (Save & Email), or just choose “Save” and a unique URL will be provided allowing on-demand access.

Now the Note Organizer may be used on any project as long as it is needed!
