Happy 2013! Every new year brings fireworks, resolutions and an all-around fresh start. How will you celebrate? New year is celebrated around the globe andmany countrieshave their own spin on ringing in the new year. Did you know that the tradition ofNew Year’s resolutionsdates back to the belief in the mythical Roman king, Janus, who had two faces? In Germany, Ireland and some parts of the U.S., people traditionally eat cabbage which is green like money, hoping for good fortune in the new year.
