Overview

Kafkas Werke (Kritische Ausgabe) represents the first time that a critical edition of Franz Kafka's work has been published in this form.

Kafkas Werke will enable scholars to search the author's novels, short stories, and diaries electronically. The full SGML coding allows users to perform sophisticated searches that previously would not have been possible.

The 15 volumes of this edition include highly regarded critical material that will be invaluable to both students and researchers. New research material is added regularly to the Web edition by the editorial board, creating the most comprehensive and up-to-date version of Kafka's works ever published.

Published in cooperation with S. Fischer Verlag.
