ProQuest Recent Newspapers is a digital archive that offers full-page images of recent editions of essential and most-requested newspaper titles. Recent Newspapers makes some titles available as stand-alone titles, and others are bundled into regional collections. Coming in June 2020, ProQuest is pleased to announce the addition of 20 new State Collections to the Historical Newspaper portfolio. For titles in the program, coverage begins in the late 2000s and goes up through the most recent issue with a three-month embargo. The Recent Newspapers content is hosted on the ProQuest platform, and is fully searchable at the page level and cross-searchable with all other products on the ProQuest platform. Recent Newspapers titles will continue to be added into the collection through 2021.
