Overview

The U.S. National Economy reproduces collections from the Department of Treasury's library, and these collections highlight the important role played in this century by the secretary and the Department. Hundreds of volumes of press conferences, press briefings (both on and off the record), interviews, press releases, and other papers provide economists and historians with a daily record of the national economy. Part 9 documents the national economy during the William J. Clinton administrations.
